“Imagination is not the ability to invent. It's actually the ability to reveal what is already there.” - Danny Boyle
Some of my earliest memories as a kid involve having a camera in my hand. Funny enough, I wasn’t really into watching movies. I was drawn instead to live award shows, music videos, and documentaries. Without realizing it, I was discovering my true passion: to tell real stories and entertain.
Today, I’m a Filmmaker, Director, and Editor who specializes in live broadcasts, commercials, documentaries, and social media content. Whether I’m behind the camera, in the editing bay, or calling shots during a live show, I thrive on collaborating with artists, brands, and organizations. My goal is always to help them stay true to their identity while bringing a fresh perspective that elevates their story.
Before I was in video production, I was on stage. I spent much of my childhood performing in live theater, and that’s where I first fell in love with the energy of live production. Since 2020, I’ve worked as the Live Broadcast Director at The Church at RB, where I lead a team of 15 crew members and direct a weekly, six-camera live show. Streamed globally through the church’s app and web platforms, it’s a broadcast I’m incredibly proud of. One of the things I love most about live multi-camera directing is that you only get one shot to get it right. It’s taught me the value of pre-production and how to align lighting, music, talent, and cameras into one seamless, powerful moment. Directing a live show is an adrenaline rush like no other!
I firmly believe that if I’m going to ask someone to do something, I want to have done it myself. That mindset has taken me through every corner of production, and I believe it’s made me a stronger director and leader.
Outside of directing, I’m also a Freelance Video Producer for LEGOLAND California Resort, where I create content for new rides, shows, and attractions. Growing up, I loved visiting theme parks, so getting to create content for one has been a full-circle dream. I work closely with LEGOLAND’s social and marketing teams to pitch, produce, and edit high-quality content that engages and excites fans. Since joining their team in 2018, I’ve worked on some incredible projects, including serving as DP for the nation’s first LEGO World Parade commercial. I’ve also shot content at the Resort for NFL Network, Entertainment Tonight, and Extra TV.
Along the way, I’ve been honored with two regional Emmy Awards and received nominations in Live Directing, Lighting, and Photography.
I’m a workaholic… but when I have a day off, you can find me wandering around Disneyland or rewatching The Office for the hundredth time.
